Just because it’s almost winter doesn’t mean it’s time for a sensible shoe. What am I saying, I live in flats! But when I am looking for something with a little height and a tad more style I always find a great wedge, especially in the winter when you need a little extra support and traction on icy sidewalks. Here are a few of my favourite pairs of winter flats!
One – Linea Low Heel Wedge £45: I have these and I love them. They are as comfortable and practical as flats but with a little extra height. These are great for anytime wear even if you have to do a bit of walking.
Two – Sole Diva Wedge Ankle Boot £35: I am so mad I just discovered these come in a wine colour! I bought these a few weeks ago in basic black and I adore them. They are super modern and sleek, working great with dresses and tunics and wild patterned tights!
Three – Forever 21 Lace Up Wedge £23: I am obsessed with lace-up or oxford wedges! I have a pair similar to these in an oatmeal colour from Primark and I love how they look. My Primark ones are pretty cheap and already falling apart so if I were to go back and do it again, I would buy these! Still very cheap but definitely a bit better quality.
Four – New Look Chain Trim Wedges £27: Here is a pair on my wishlist. I tried these on the other day and think they are cool and edgy, if I didn’t spend way more than I should have they would have certainly been bought.
Five – Forever 21 Faux Suede Strappy Wedges £23: I am passionate about ankle straps. For some reason wearing a high shoe with an ankle strap makes me feel powerful, I have no idea why. These are great for the winter because of their closed toe and faux suede finish. They would work well with bare legs or tights so there is definitely some versatility!
